Choosing the right shoe matters!
  • A good sandal protects your toes, supports your foot, and keeps you safe from slips.
  • A good walking shoe or jogger supports your stride, protects your joints, and keeps you moving comfortably

Seasonal Foot Care - What Does This Mean?

Tips for keeping your feet healthy this winter:
  • Moisturise Daily: Apply a rich foot cream, especially after showering, to prevent dry, cracked skin.
  • Warm, Waterproof Shoes: Choose waterproof boots or shoes to keep feet dry from rain and puddles. Also, check that your shoes aren't too tight, as this can restrict blood flow and opt for materials that let your feet breathe to prevent sweat buildup.
  • Moisture-Wicking Socks: Wear wool or bamboo socks to keep feet warm and dry. Avoid cotton for activities.
  • Change Damp Socks: Never stay in wet or damp socks. Change them immediately.
  • Wash & Dry Thoroughly: Wash feet daily and dry completely, especially between toes, to prevent infections.
  • Inspect Feet Regularly: Look for any redness, cracks, blisters, or unusual changes.
  • Consider a Podiatrist: See a podiatrist for persistent issues or if you have underlying health conditions.
