Diabetic foot care includes neurovascular screening and general podiatry care. Podiatrists will perform a series of tests to assess both vascular and neurological foot status. Diabetes assessments are done alongside our general podiatry treatments and do not incur an addition cost or consultation. Sarah Coombes (Principal Podiatrist) holds a Graduate certificate in Diabetes education and considers Diabetes her special area of interest. She is highly skilled in the treatment of HIGH-RISK feet including Charcot arthropathy, neuropathic ulceration and diagnosis of vascular insufficiency. As a clinic we provide Diabetes screening alongside the current best practice framework and can discuss the results with you in terms that you are able to understand. Our wound management skills are upgraded regularly, and we are able to identify, treat and provide wound care advice for all types of wounds. Our Podiatrists will liaise with your doctor, wound care nurse and in some cases specialists to provide you with the best outcome for your specific wound care needs. minor surgery
